t1n1wall Documentation¶
t1n1wall is a FreeBSD-based firewall/router for home and cloud use.
This documentation is written for current t1n1wall behavior and is intended to reduce support dependency by providing complete, operational guidance.
Critical notes before you begin¶
- t1n1wall uses pf as the packet filter.
- Historical m0n0wall docs may reference ipfilter/ipf; treat those terms as legacy and use the pf-focused guidance here.
- VPN components currently implemented include IPsec, L2TP/IPsec, and PPTP (legacy use).
- DNS forwarder can map FQDNs into IP Pools used as pf tables for policy decisions.
- Use release assets for production downloads, not transient build artifacts.
